Coach Steve ALEXANDRE
Steve was a phenomenal defender. Able to defend any player. His determination and team spirit made him a successful player.
With good vision, Steve was an excellent passer, a skilled shooter, able to finish in any situation.
Steve is now a certified coach with the French Basketball Federation at the national level. And a Certified Mental Trainer. With over 10 years experience, he has trained dozens of players, children and adults, in France and abroad.
Steve has experience of basketball camps in France and the USA where he worked for Breakthrough Basketball Camp in Peoria, Chicago and Fredericks.

How does the camp work?
- Welcome from 8.30 am
- Morning 9am - 11.30am: training - acquisition of solid fundamentals
- 11.45 - 12.30: Individual competitions
- Break 12.45 - 13.30: balanced meal per team
- Afternoon 13:45 - 15:00: team matches in the championship
- Motivational speech of a pro player or coach 15.10 - 15.25
- Ends: 15:30
Who is the management team made up of?
The coaching staff is composed of 7 coaches:
- 1 head coach
- 6 assistant coaches
My child is not a member of the club where the course is held, can he/she register?
The Worzy Basketball Camp is open to everyone. Even those who are not members of the club of Residence Walferdange or Bettembourg (BBC Nitia)
My child is underage, can I register him/her?
If your child is under the required age (under 13 or over 16), please contact us by clicking here. We will review the situation within 24 hours.

Is the meal included?
The meal is included in the registration fee.
Your child's well-being and performance is our priority. Our team has therefore planned balanced meals every day.
What should I put in my child's bag?
It is recommended that your child brings :
- its own ball
- sportswear suitable for basketball
- a snack for the short morning break
- a water bottle
- a change of clothes if necessary
What time can I drop my child off?
We have flexible arrival and departure times:
- arrival from 8.30 a.m.
- departure until 16:00 in the afternoon

My child will be picked up by someone other than me, what should I do?
You just have to specify it on the Registration Form in the box provided. The form will be sent to you by e-mail within minutes of your registration.
What measures are being taken to combat COVID-19?
In order to ensure maximum protection of all Campers and staff, each participant (Campers and staff) in the "Worzy Basketball Camp" is required to respect the sanitary measures that will be in force on the site where the "Worzy Luxembourg Basketball Camp" takes place.
Namely the "3G" scheme detailed as follows:
Persons who have reached the age of 12 years and 2 months must present :
- a certificate of vaccination issued less than 270 days ago
- or a certificate of vaccination of a booster dose (unlimited validity)
- or a certificate of recovery for 180 days
- or a valid certified test
Persons who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons must present a certificate of contraindication to vaccination, as well as a certificate of a negative COVID-19 test (PCR, certified antigen test) or, if necessary, perform a self-test on the spot.
Can parents attend the camp?
Parents are only allowed to attend the camp:
- for matches every afternoon from 1.30 pm
- if they have registered as an observer coach according to the modalities specified under this link.
What are the registration procedures?
All registrations must be made via the website. Paper documents must also be returned to us by post or e-mail in order to finalise the registration:
- Parental consent
- Health liaison form
- Medical certificate if your child is not a member of a club
- Recent passport photo
- Photocopy of the prescription for medication taken by the child during the camp (if applicable)
What are the different payment methods?
We accept the following payments:
- CB, Visa, Mastercard
- PayPal,
- Bank transfer
I would like to pay in instalments, is that possible?
The website allows payment in 3 instalments without charge by credit card (CB, VISA, MasterCard) or PayPal.
The first payment is 50% of the total amount of the basket. The next instalment is 50% of the total amount and is automatically deducted 30 days after the first payment.
I want to cancel my registration, is it possible?
Cancellation is possible by sending an e-mail or letter to this effect. If you cancel at least 10 days before the start of the camp, we will refund the amount paid for the reservation, less a €25 cancellation fee.
In the event of cancellation of the Camp less than ten (10) calendar days before the start of the Camp or during the Camp or failure of the Camper to appear on the first day of the Camp at the scheduled time, no refund will be made to the Camper.
In the event of cancellation of the Camp due to illness or a positive COVID test, SABB will reimburse the Camper for the full amount paid less a cancellation fee of €25, provided that an official document from a doctor attesting to the illness, or a document attesting to the Camper's positive COVID test, is sent.
